Wilding the Watershed:
Re-Storying Richmond Hill into the Watershed Retreat
Saturday, March 18th, 9 am-noon
Experience a deeper connection with our watershed and learn how to re-story our relationship with it.
Together we will enliven our sacred relationship with the garden and grounds of Richmond Hill and learn about green infrastructure practices for managing stormwater (think rain gardens and barrels- on a larger scale!). We will conclude by making recommendations for how to incorporate new practices into Richmond Hill’s stormwater management concept plan. No experience necessary!
We will spend the morning engaging with both the science and spirituality of watersheds. Come with curiosity and an adventurous spirit and we will walk you through it.
Facilitators: Rev. Katie Heishman, Co-Pastoral Director, and Beth Nelson, Gardener at Richmond Hill
