It has been said, politicians listen to two things, money and votes. If we work together as a community and increase voter turnout, then our local, state and national legislators will listen to our needs. Multiple areas of life are influenced when we vote. It impacts: education, healthcare, immigration, infrastructure, the economy, and our veteran affairs to name a few. It is time for us to be the change we want to see and improve the quality of life for everyone by raising our voice with our vote.
You may ask why voting is so critical to us… according to Isaiah 9, the scripture reminds us that, “the Government shall be upon His shoulders.” It is our job, as believers, to use our voice in the political affairs in our communities. It is up to us as believers to take a stand and use our voice while helping others exercise their right to vote!
