With racial divisiveness rising across America, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF), together with more than 130 organizations committed to an emerging Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) enterprise, called for a National Day of Healing on January 17, 2017.
Share your story of healing — the goal is to spur efforts to heal the wounds created by racial, ethnic and religious bias and build an equitable and just society in which all children thrive. It is a response to the broad call for healing following the contentious rhetoric of recent months. Such calls for healing have come from the current and former President of the United States, as well as from leaders in 32 states.
Richmond is fortunate in having many groups committed to justice and reconciliation. Sharing your story is an opportunity to broaden and deepen our personal and joint commitment.
