Make Haste, Lord!

“O God, come to our assistance,” she said. “O Lord, make haste to help us!” we replied. Rev. Vicky Bethel poignantly ties today’s events to Mark’s gospel (Mark 10:46-52) in her message given during Community worship on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

Vicky is in her second year as a member of the Urban Service Corps of Richmond Hill.  She coordinates Micah, a ministry of Richmond Hill and a partnership of faith communities and Richmond public elementary schools which provides mentors, tutors, and volunteers with the goal that every child will believe that “I can achieve.”
