Azores Spinning Reel Azoles is a high performance offshore spinning reel that covers a wide range of jigging to tuna casting. Features Mechanism Stabilization System (MSS) MSS (Mechanical Stabilization System) has been stabilized throughout the internal parts by placing carbon plates inside. This helps to reduce minor shaking and movement between parts and allows the entire reel to run steadily. DFD: Dual Force Drag System DFD incorporates the drag system above and below the spool to distribute the load to improve drag adjustment and drag force. The top of the spool features a multi-disc felt drag system that is protected by a Hydro Block system. Works with secondary drag system located on the bottom of the spool Even pressure is applied on both sides of the spool for better initial drag stability and greatly improved maximum drag power compared to traditional single drag systems. Knurling spool design The spool surface uses a non-slip knurling band to reduce line trouble. AlumiLite Construction (ALC) The AlumiLite construction is a method that is produced by die casting. Azoles uses the body, side plates, and rotors. The body adopts aluminum which is more rigid than conventional frames, and can withstand strong drags. Die-cast frames provide gear layout, overall internal stability and ultimate durability. Rust proof aluminum Superior rust resistance processing, more than 50% corrosion resistant than common materials. High Performance Bearing (HPB) Azoles uses 6 HPBs and is produced from high quality saltwater compatible stainless steel. This ensures saltwater resistance and smooth rotation. Machine Cut Aluminum Handle Aluminum handle arms provide power and light weight. Ergonomic oval handle knob provides stress-free comfort. Large main shaft Designed to be thicker than conventional shafts, it is 3 times stronger than conventional shafts. Dual anti-reverse system Azoles adopts a durable dual anti-reverse system and backup multi-stop reverse system for increased reliability in all fishing environments. The Azores pinion gear has been reinforced with ball bearings in two front and back for smooth movement. Precision gear interlock keeps reeling light even in heavy loads.
