Join the Urban Service Corps at Richmond Hill

Want to earn Graduate level academic credit in the process?
Applications are currently being received for Richmond Hill’s Urban Service Corps, which begins in September, 2013. Spend a year living in an intentional Christian community and engaging in service in the wider community of RVA. You will receive room and board, a modest stipend, plus five academic credits (offered through the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union).
Some of the opportunities for service include:
- Richmond Public Schools
- Community organizing to provide economic opportunity
- Mobilizing churches
- Hospitality coordination
The Richmond Hill Urban Service Corps is a one-year residential commitment beginning in August of each year. We will have four servant-leaders in the Community per year.
