Creating Pathways through Grief — Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022
9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022
The arts can be so helpful in processing our grief. Bypass the head and work with your hands and heart. It’s restorative. Express your grief and find new insights about the journey. You’ll have opportunities to share what you make with others. Various options are available — including a dream work exercise, as well as a choice of various writing exercises. There’s even an art for “stuck points” in the grief journey exercise.
Best of all, no artistic experience is necessary!
The facilitator of this day retreat is Sandra Gramling, Ph.D., LCP, Spiritual Director and Coordinator of Grief Ministries at Richmond Hill. Activities may include:
- Collage (Vision Board)
- Writing (various exercises)
- Mandala creation
The suggested donation for this day retreat is $40.00 which includes lunch. As COVID transmission levels remain high, masks will be required but may be removed during lunch. We have both indoor and outdoor dining options. We plan to offer this retreat again on January 26 & April 27, 2023.
This retreat is currently at capacity. To add your name to our waitlist for October 27, 2022, please submit the form below or contact Richmond Hill at 804-783-7903.
