A Financial Overview
Richmond Hill’s mission of healing Metropolitan Richmond is modeled in the community life of its residents. This core ministry is budgeted around $650,000 annually.
Core expenses can be grouped into three areas:
- Residents/staff ♦(stipends/salaries and benefits);
- Program/operations ♦ (utilities, insurance, food, laundry, supplies); and
- Facilities/grounds ♦ (ordinary repairs and maintenance).
The core ministry is sustained through almost 1,000 donors, whose gifts fund basic needs of residents and staff, and the maintenance of facilities and grounds. Program fees and tuitions thankfully fund all other operating costs.
Separately budgeted and funded are major repairs and renovations, and Richmond Hill outreach ministries — the Micah Initiative and the Armstrong Leadership Program.
