Lenten Grief Retreat: March 28-29, 2015
A 24-Hour Retreat at Richmond Hill: Sat. 4 pm – Sun. 4 pm
This retreat is designed to be a time apart for rest, renewal, learning, reflection and healing for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.
There will be a range of guided and self-paced activities that individuals all along the post-bereavement journey may find beneficial.
Activities include:
- Pathways of Grief
- Small group discussion
- Reflective readings
- Expressive art
- Writing activities
- Walking
- Rest & reflection
The facilitator for the retreat is Sandy Gramling, Ph.D., FT, Coordinator of Grief Ministries at Richmond Hill. She brings a great deal of personal, academic, spiritual, and practical experience to grief work.

The cost of the retreat is $80.00 which includes lodging, all meals, and all program activities. Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.
