Healing Prayer Opportunities

The healing prayer ministry at Richmond Hill is founded on the belief that Jesus heals today and that we are called to pray for all who come in need of spiritual, emotional, or physical healing. We provide a variety of opportunities for healing prayer.
Individual Prayer Ministry: Teams of trained prayer ministers are available by appointment to pray for your individual needs. These sessions are conducted in an atmosphere of strict confidentiality. If you are interested in healing prayer, contact Janie Walker at (804)783-7903.

SOAKING PRAYER

Twice each month we hold services in the quiet and peace of the chapel. This is an opportunity to "come apart for awhile" and soak in God's love. we invite you to relax in a pew or even to recline on the chapel floor while receiving prayer from team members for your individual concerns. Services are held first Thursdays of each month at 10:00 a.m. and fourth Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

GENERATIONAL HEALING EUCHARIST

We are often affected by generational patterns in our lives which prevent us from walking in wholeness. Prayer is offered for healing of familial patterns of physical illness, addictive behaviors, unusual or violent deaths, or destructive or dysfunctional relationships. Prayerful preparation of a genogram is recommended. Services are held on fifth Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

SOZO SCHOOL OF CHRISTIAN HEALING PRAYER

This is an introduction to healing prayer for those who feel they may be called to healing prayer ministry or those who wish to explore their own need for inner healing. Classes include presentations, discussion, and prayer. The school consists of three eight week sessions beginning in each fall. An interview and recommendations are required.
